The Fargo-Moorhead downtown community lost one of the great ones this week. If you are from this area, you have most likely heard that the long-time manager of Dempsey’s passed away unexpectedly this week. This post was intended for next week, but it seems appropriate to post it sooner, in dedication to Fonder.

I cant really take credit for this one, but those of you who came to Dempsey’s while I was bartending should know this one it was a staple. The drink is almost like an instant sangria that we had on the menu for years. Those of you who have had one also know its dangerous, very sweet but packs an unexpected amount of alcohol.

Here’s to you, Fonder. Until we meet again.

Ingredients:

• Peach Vodka

• Bacardi Limon

• Triple Sec

• Lemonade

• Red Wine

Instructions:

• Fill a pint glass full of ice

• Add one shot of Bacardi Limone, one shot of peach vodka and a splash of triple sec.

• Use a shaker to mix.

• Pour lemonade over the top and float red wine.

• Add a lemon for garnish.
